The True Meaning Of Christmas

MERRY CHRISTMAS!!
Father,
I Pray may we truly come to know and understand the real reason for this
Christmas season. May we see the fullness of the fact that, You Gave Your Only
Begotten Son.
AMEN!!!

Ho Ho Ho, We wish you a Merry Christmas, Have a Holly Jolly Christmas.
Decorated trees, Homes, Lawns,
Roof Tops, Stores. Fancy sweaters, shirts, skirts, dresses, and coats, hats, and
mittens, all decorated reflecting Santa's, reindeer, and elves, Christmas trees,
sleigh rides and snowmen.
Baked and decorated, Cookies, Candies, Pies, Turkeys, Hams, and even roasts of
all kinds. This and other countless things done all claiming to bring the
Christmas cheer. And yet at the same time this is noted as the time of year with
the highest suicide rate.
Black Friday, The one day of the year where more money is spent than any other
day of the year. Stores even open at midnight to try to get their share of the
millions of dollars that are spent in the name of the season of giving.
Why, Why, Why do people: see
- talk - buy gifts - eat meals - have
parties with people, who the rest of the year they don't even speak to except on
rare occasions, when it is done instead of addressing the reason they are at odds
in the first place.

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that WHOSOEVER believes on him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

Jesus,
The Christ,
Emmanuel,
God with us,
Prince of Peace,
Mighty counselor,
Almighty God,
Alpha and Omega.
The real reason for the season!
We can begin to see what the real
reason is for the season.

Now let me ask you a question,
if Jesus is the real reason for the season?
What are we allowing to happen?
The Bible says, James 2:15-17, If a brother or sister be naked, and destitute of daily food, And one of you say unto them, Depart in peace, be ye warmed and filled; not withstanding you don't give them those things which are needful to the body; what does it profit? Even so faith, if it has not works, is dead, being alone.
So are we really understanding the real meaning behind
Christmas?
God
sent Jesus, who gave up all glory that he had with the Father, to take on the
form of flesh and come here to earth to give us the gift of salvation
in order for us to be reconciled back to the standing with God that we were
meant to have before Adam and Eve sinned by eating the fruit of the tree of
Knowledge of good and of evil.
Gods gift to us, was the gift of life ever lasting. Do we
who call ourselves Christians really understand what Jesus told Nicodemus in the
beginning of John 3? ( I suggest you read it for yourself) Except a man be born
again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.
Instead, we put a doll baby in a manger scene and then we
tell the world this is the reason for the season.
What we fail to tell them is, Jesus according to John 1, was with the Father in the beginning. When the world was created and then in complete obedience to the Father, gave up this glory to be born into the likeness of sinful flesh in order that he be crucified, dead and buried. Then on the third day thereafter, he rose from the dead, giving us the opportunity to accept him as our Lord and Savior.
Hence the ultimate gift of giving.

John 15:12-17
This is my commandment, That you love one another, as I have loved you. Greater
love has no man than this, THAT A MAN LAY DOWN HIS LIFE FOR HIS FRIENDS. You are
my friends, if you do whatsoever I command you.
Henceforth I call you not servants; for the servant knows not what his lord
does: but I have called you friends; for all things that I have heard of my
Father I have made know to you.
You have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained
you, that you should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should
remain: that whatsoever you shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it
you.
These things I command you, that you love one another.

Kind of makes what we see today as Christmas, kind of empty, doesn't it?
Most of what we experience today for the season is rather void and empty,
when you consider the real Reason
For the Season.

Father,
We pray, help us to return to our first love and away from worldly religion.
Lord Jesus, I pray for a very special blessing this year for all of our men and
women in the military who have answered the call to lay down their lives for all
of us here, that we may continue to enjoy the ability to act and do as we
please. May we honor their sacrifice by praying and helping out their families
back here in the states, remembering that the holiday season is really empty
when mom or/and dad are not able to be home with the ones they love.
AMEN!!!
May all of you truly have a happy and joyful Christmas this year and may all
who do not know Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior take a moment now to say,
LORD JESUS COME INTO MY HEART AND MY LIFE, I YIELD MY LIFE TO YOU NOW.
I WANT TO PERSONALLY KNOW THE REASON FOR THIS CHRISTMAS SEASON. JESUS JESUS JESUS
