(Sorry for the late post of this next lesson, but with the holidays and the weather and all the other excuses I can think of to keep myself out of the hot seat. It is finally here! I did wait an extra half a week to post this so it would come out on the regular day - Webmaster)
- Lesson Three: Knowledge -
Father, we pray that you give us all wisdom, knowledge, discernment, and understanding in everything that we will consider today. We give you all praise, worship, glory, and honor. Lord, we thank you for the opportunity to search and hear your word.
AMEN!!!

Knowledge, A clear and certain perception of that which exists, or of truth and fact;
the perception of the connection and agreement, or disagreement of our ideas.
We can have no knowledge of that which does not exist.
Human knowledge is very limited, and is mostly gained by observation and experience.

Chapter 1 Verses: 3-11 |
¶ According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue: |
whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises; that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust. |
And besides this, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue; and to virtue, knowledge; |
and to knowledge, temperance; and to temperance, patience; and to patience, godliness; |
and to godliness, brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness, charity. |
For if these things be in you, and abound, they make you that ye shall neither be barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. |
But he that lacketh these things is blind, and cannot see afar off, and hath forgotten that he was purged from his old sins. |
Wherefore the rather, brethren, give diligence to make your calling and election sure: for if ye do these things, ye shall never fall: |
for so an entrance shall be ministered unto you abundantly into the everlasting kingdom of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. |

As stated in verse 3 if we are going to have all things pertaining to life and God that it all begins with having the Knowledge of Who Christ is. But check the meaning again, A clear and certain perception of that which exists, (JESUS).
This brings us to the understanding that in order to have a good job you need excellent working knowledge of the equipment that you will be operating. Are you going to ask others what they think that they might know about it or are you going to seek out the manual of the equipment and read it for yourself, studying it and seeking out an opportunity to get a chance to experience the equipment in operation, so that you can apply what you have read to what you have seen in order to come to a greater working knowledge. Making you much more apt to be able to be used by the head of the company.
Well, now apply this to your life in Christ. The more you read the book and seek the very face of God, the more apt you are to be able to be used or even to just understand how this applies to you in your own personal life first and foremost.
When I walk into a church I want to experience an encounter with Jesus.
Whether I need a healing, a deliverance of heart, soul, mind, or just to have a visitation from the living God.
Well, if the man or woman of God that is behind the pulpit,
doesn't have that KNOWLEDGE of who Christ really is and what he has for his people.
Guess what?
You aren't going to find it there!
We can't have someone else's experience with God.
We have to have our own and then we can share or testify to others what has happened to us
as an encouragement for them to also seek God for their own experience.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Lord, we ask you that you would expand our knowledge of all there is for us to know about you, that we may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing except deeper and deeper knowledge of you Jesus.
AMEN!!!
Until Next Time,
Love And God Bless You All! --- Willy
