What is your will today?
~
Romans
6
23 – For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord
Father I pray that all who read this today will come to an understanding of how much we need you each and every moment that we breathe the air that you bless us with and not to call on you only when we feel like we could make time for you.

There are times when I encounter things in my walk thru this life that really are hard to stand and this week was one of those times. It was one of those times when you seem to get a little closer to understanding the real heart of Jesus. One of those times when the Lord lets us feel how he feels about things, and I tell you I would not want to have to walk in Jesus shoes in some cases. Like the garden where he prayed, not my will be done, but thy will be done Father. Like the times in scripture where it says that Jesus groaned in his Spirit when those he was trying to help would not receive.
The will of man is a hard thing to understand at times although Jesus never pushed against our will and that means we are not allowed to press people into things for the Lord either. All that they do and for that matter what we do, MUST be done of our own FREE will.
In the Bible in the book of Ephesians 2:1-10 and pay close attention to verse 9

The Epistle of Paul the Apostle to the
Ephesians
2
Saved by Grace
1.) And you hath he quickened, who were dead in trespasses and sins;
2.) wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience:
3.) among whom also we all had our conversation in times past in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind; and were by nature the children of wrath, even as others.
4.) But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us,
5.) even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, Col. 2.13 (by grace ye are saved;)
6.) and hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus:
7.) that in the ages to come he might show the exceeding riches of his grace, in his kindness toward us, through Christ Jesus.
8.) For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:
9.) not of works, lest any man should boast.
10.) For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.

Grace is a wonderful thing to experience, that is if you WILL allow it to be applied to your life. After all it is free to all who will receive it. Our salvation is a free gift from God and one we do not deserve, but none the less, Jesus died on that cross, shedding his blood, being buried, resurrected from the dead, ascending to heaven to sit at the right hand of God the Father, and makes intercession for us day and night before the throne.
So as is grace a wonderful thing to experience if we will, so is the rejection of it hard to witness if one will not. That my friends IS what I had to go thru this week.
Her name was Elizabeth, I met her in Dallas Texas, at the Flying J truck stop. She was on the C B asking if anyone needed their truck cleaned, which is a common practice all across the country. However this time I heard her, because you see usually I do not even have my radio turned on. I noticed that every time she would say something that everyone would jump all over her on the radio. This either means she was in direct opposition with someone else cleaning trucks or she was a problem that everyone was sick of hearing. I asked her to come over to my truck and I would give her the money but did not want my truck cleaned, just because she was asking for work and not just asking for a handout.
When she got to the truck one look at her told me that God had more for me to do than to just give her money. Liz was about 5ft tall, maybe about 45 years old and looked 65, she weighed about 70 lbs. The police came over to my truck and told me I had to leave the truck stop because they do not allow prostitution or crack heads on their lot. I informed him that I did not like it either. However, I wasn't leaving till I was done with my paperwork and then I would need to mail a letter and cash a check to give Liz the money I promised, so the officer escorted her across the street. Before she left, Liz pleaded with tears that I make the trip across the street before I left. I did and once across the street I was once again confronted with people who told Liz that she must get off her property. She walked over into the grass and sat under a tree. I walked over to her and with tears handed her a $20 bill at which time I told her that she only needed Jesus Christ in her life and that it was because of Jesus that I was even able to be there after all, I had already died from an over dose, but the grace of God let me return to be able to be in Dallas Texas to give her the money that God had for her and that I would be able to offer her Christ. I explained to her all the things that God had done for me in my life and how I wasn't a recovering drug addict or alcoholic but that I was a new creature in Christ and was now free of all of those things. Now with greats tears and weeping Elizabeth looked at me and said, I CAN'T ACCEPT HIM NOW. I explained that if she took the $20 and bought a fix that would kill her that she would spend eternity in a DEVILS HELL, but she just cried again and said, I CAN'T ACCEPT HIM NOW! So now, with tears in my eyes I turned and walked away knowing how Jesus feels when the gift that he offered, which he purchased for Liz with his own blood, is rejected.

Romans
8
5.) For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit, the things of the Spirit.
6.) For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.
7.) Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be.
8.) So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God.

Romans
10
8.) But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: Deut. 30.12-14 that is, the word of faith, which we preach;
9.) that if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
10.) For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
11.) For the Scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed. Is. 28.16
