"GOD WANTS US TO KNOW,
HE GIVES US THE VICTORY,
NOT OF OURSELVES"
Many times in our life we will seem to run into situations that we think that it will be impossible to get thru. But then one day every thing seems to go from terrible to victorious. Well sometimes the Lord Jesus will let us sit in a situation for awhile until we recognize that he is the only way out. The bible says that God will share his Glory with no man and there is a story in the Old Testament that proves it. Judges 7:1-25 , but that is to much text to list it all here so you will need to go and read it for yourself. Thanks to our new link agreement with bartleby.com that will be easy. ¶ And the LORD said unto Gideon, The people that are with thee are too many for me to give the Mid'i-anites into their hands, lest Israel vaunt themselves against me, saying, Mine own hand hath saved me. |

Now therefore go to, proclaim in the ears of the people, saying, Whosoever is fearful and afraid, let him return Deut. 20.8 and depart early from mount Gil'e-ad. And there returned of the people twenty and two thousand; and there remained ten thousand. |

¶ And the LORD said unto Gideon, The people are yet too many; bring them down unto the water, and I will try them for thee there: and it shall be, that of whom I say unto thee, This shall go with thee, the same shall go with thee; and of whomsoever I say unto thee, This shall not go with thee, the same shall not go. |

So he brought down the people unto the water: and the LORD said unto Gideon, Every one that lappeth of the water with his tongue, as a dog lappeth, him shalt thou set by himself; likewise every one that boweth down upon his knees to drink. |
Again you will need to read the chapter before also to understand how God used Gideon. But the lesson is that there are times in our lives that God will show himself so real that you will know that whatever it is that is done, was of God and that he is the only way it could of taken place.
When I was able to lease a new truck, it was God. Because of my life before Christ I had no credit and what there was wasn't good. But after coming to Christ (years after) I learned to believe that his word was true. It said that with Jesus all things are possible. Also I had a phone ministry were I would spend hours helping others using Gods word to teach them how to put the word of God in their lives. Anyway, one day the Company that I had leased my trucking services to called me to let me know that I was approved to lease a brand new truck. I asked how this was possible since I didn't have any credit and also I didn't even fill out a credit application, she said that she had an app. filled out and signed by me laying in front of her that was stamped "APPROVED".
So I said "OK Lord, what’s up here? I know this is impossible."
One by one I saw the faces of the people that God had give me to minister to.
When that was done God said, "Thank you, Now go get your new truck."
This is just one of the miracles in which God has shown himself to me in this life, not just as Gideon's in the bible.
The point is, when we are up against the wall our Lord and Savior, Jesus, is there.
