As you read this message I pray in Jesus name, that it will pierce your heart and minister to you and that you apply God's word to your heart and life.

     The book of John in chapter 15:12-14, Jesus tells us
This is my commandment, that you love one another as I have loved you;
Greater love has no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.
You are my friends, if you do whatsoever I command you.
 

     When I think of all those men and women that are willing to love their fellow Americans enough that they are willing to lay down their owns lives just so that the rest of us can live here in the U.S.A. with out fear, I want to let the world know that we as Christians need to be praying for our troops whether we agree with why they are over there or not.
     Jesus was willing to forsake even his life so that we could be free from sin and be able to make heaven our home. Now I realize that what our troops are doing doesn't bring salvation. Well wait a minute, maybe we should consider the fact that when a total stranger comes into an unknown land to help the people of that country to be free from the wicked and evil ways of murdering and raping dictators, that just maybe those now free people may want to know,

"Just why in the world are you people willing to die for us?"

     We always heard from our government that you people from America were bad people. Yet here you are standing up for us when it really isn't even your problem. Maybe, just maybe they may want to ask, American soldiers,

"WHY are you willing to help us and what is it within you that drives you to want to do this?"

     Do you think this may be a good chance for us as Christians to tell some people who have always heard also that besides the Americas being bad , that so was there God Jesus Christ, to bring across a little different view of our great Lord and Savior Jesus Christ to a once ignorant people to The Way The Truth and The Life.

     So it is my humble opinion the we who are today sitting in our fine American homes, start to really pray for our men and women in the military.

Let me ask you, when was the last time that you were willing to die for someone else?

     May you take a moment if you don't know Christ as your Lord and Saviour. Christ came into this world born of a virgin, with a plan of salvation to go to a cross that he was crucified until death, for all sins, he arose again on the 3rd day and ascended into heaven.

Revelation 3:20
