Patience
(Ohhhhhhh! How we love to have it!...Not even!)
Is it ready yet?
Hurry up!
We got to get going!
Well, I don't understand what is taking so long, they left an hour ago and it should only take them about 45 min.
I wish God would hurry up and let us know what to do.
If you don't act today this deal may not be available tomorrow.
Oh and the great vacation offer, well sir you have to give me the money before you get off the phone or we can't hold this offer open.
(Oh gee, that is too bad, BYE!)

Psalm
23:1 "The Lord is my shepherd;
I shall not want."
James 1:3-4
"Knowing this, that the
trying of your faith worketh patience. But let
patience have her perfect work, that we may be
perfect and entire, wanting nothing."

Just a few examples of what we say about waiting, and a couple of examples of
what God says about waiting.
(Notice Any Difference?)

Patience By Definition
The suffering of afflictions, pain, toil, calamity, provocation or other evil,
with a calm, unruffled temper; endurance without murmuring or fretfulness.
Patience may spring from constitutional fortitude, from a kind of heroic pride,
or from Christian submission to the divine will.
Steadfastness - Constancy - Endurance
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
We must come to the place in our walk with
Jesus that we overcome the need for
INSTANT
gratification in our lives. After all we are the ones who
have been taught this and in of ourselves teach this to our children.
We seem to think that God sometimes is like getting in touch with tech support to give us an answer to our problems, and then with just a small amount of effort on our part our problems are over. Like driving down the road at 70 mph knowing that the speed limit is 60 mph. Then when we get a ticket and we call a lawyer to get out of it because that is what the world does.
We need to understand that what we really need to do is change how we are driving and not look for ways to have our sin took care of, BUT!
Stop Sinning!!
We need to learn patience from God, after all it is God who was first patient with us extending his wonderful grace toward us when we were living like hell.
Yet know we don't like to have the patience as God teaches us how we need to change our lives in order to live for him.
Here Is The Deal!
Repentance Means To Change Direction!
We've gone on with life as usual even after we are saved not realizing that there is a time of the changing of our heart to turn toward God and away from old ways. So you see, when you read the meaning of Patience again now you can realize that it is with these meanings in YOUR OWN life that you must have the patience with yourself and not let the enemy of this world frustrate you as the creature of this world is changing your heart and mind.
Hey nobody told me that we were going to be jumping into the deep end of the pool of understanding. But that is ok cause JESUS the lifeguard will not let you go, but help you to swim. After all what did you think it meant in Matthew 28:19 when Jesus said:
"Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and the Son, and the Holy Ghost."
The definition of baptize is to so totally submerse into that the first substance takes on the characteristics of what it is being submersed into. In the name of, in verse 19 referring to the Father, Son, and Holy Ghost. The name is as the characteristic of the person bearing the name. So being baptized in the name of Jesus, means to be so immersed into Jesus that you become like him.
HEY, PRAISE THE LORD AND LETS JUMP
IN AND GO SWIMMING!!
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Father I pray for all who have read this, that they would have great revelation of all that has been said here today and that the enemy will not twist anything; that your Word will not return void, but instead will accomplish what it was sent to do.
AMEN!!!
Until Next Time,
Love And God Bless You All! --- Willy
